Next Hiring Round: Khun Donut and Khun Ball

Today we welcomed two applicants to the Nam Jai Code Lab for an interview. Khun Ball is studying computer engineering at Kasetsart University, and Khun Donut is studying medical science.

We had a great interview and workshop together — exactly the kind of hands-on session that shows us how someone thinks, builds, and learns by doing.

As a possible first project, we plan to implement a distributed AI infrastructure that uses a computer network to run AI agents for batch processing — project "Nightshift".

We are looking forward to the follow-up meeting.

Advisory Board Meeting at Siam Paragon, Hosted by Axel Winter

On August 29, 2026, the Nam Jai Code Lab held a great Advisory Board Meeting at Siam Paragon, hosted by Axel Winter. Talking about AI, Enterprise Software, SMEs in Thailand, and many more topics was really inspiring. Thank you to Prof. Dr. Kriengsak Chareonwongsak, Axel Winter, Prachya Intranupakorn, Prof. Dr. Sirisilp Kongsilp, Martin Knoss, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norman Hoeltz, and Sudarat Artpukpung.

The meeting marked the real kick-off of the Nam Jai Code Lab, which combines Thai and international expertise in engineering AI solutions with the nation-building, social development, and human-capital framework of the Nation-Building Institute (NBI).

Our maxim: "Building people is building a nation. Together, we build Thailand's Digital and AI Future." Our mission: to create partnership opportunities for business leaders, to build a working environment based on learning by doing, and to help young underprivileged Thais start a career in IT and AI development.

From the Advisory Board, we welcomed at Siam Piwat: Prof. Dr. Kriengsak Chareonwongsak (Founder of NBI), Prof. Dr. Sirisilp Kongsilp (Kasetsart University), Prachya Intranupakorn (Director, Thai-German Institute), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norman Hoeltz, and Prof. Dr. Roland Petrasch — together with the host, Axel Winter, CEO of Xponential and Board Director at GXBank.

It sounds formal, but we had a great time aligning on the mission, exploring opportunities, and sharing learnings on driving AI capability development and working across local and international environments. Afterwards, Axel Winter showed the group the fantastic developments at NEXTOPIA, in Siam Paragon.

New Advisor: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norman Hoeltz joins the team

On August 18, 2026, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norman Hoeltz, Professor for Logistics & International Technology Transfer Management and an experienced consultant and mentor, visited Nam Jai Code Lab (NJCL) in Rangsit, Pathum Thani, Thailand.

Prof. Hoeltz is an internationally recognized expert in transportation, logistics, and technology transfer. During his visit, we discussed our shared goal of helping underprivileged young people in Thailand build a career in the tech industry, as well as potential industrial projects such as vertical farming, solar energy, and AI applications.

We are very happy that he will support our lab as an advisor, and we look forward to future discussions and projects with him. Thank you, Prof. Norman!

Nam Jai Lab welcomes Mr. Tah to join the team

Welcoming Mr. Tah to the Team! 🚀

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Tah (pictured 2nd from left) to our growing engineering team!

Mr. Tah recently graduated in July 2026 from the prestigious King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) with a degree in Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering. Bringing a solid academic foundation in modern control theory and system dynamics, he is ready to jump straight into advanced robotics development.

In his new role, Mr. Tah will be driving key capabilities in our Robotics projects. He will focus on building robust control and simulation pipelines leveraging ROS 2, MoveIt 2, Gazebo, MuJoCo, IsaacSim and others.

His work will sit right at the intersection of classical control and modern AI—tackling advanced topics such as Model Predictive Control (MPC), Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, and seamless Sim-to-Real transfer via physics-based digital twins.

He will be applying these cutting-edge techniques directly to our hardware stack, including multi-DOF arms like the Annin Robotics AR3/AR4 platforms.

We're excited to see the impact he'll make as we continue pushing the boundaries of AI-driven manipulation and autonomous systems.
